Dr. Oumar Abou Abba

Dr Oumar abou abba is a diplomat at the ministry of external relations of the republic of Cameroon, he graduated from the international relations institute of Cameroon with a doctorate in international relations, were he defended a thesis on the topic “free trade Zones and direct foreign investment in subsaharah Africa “.

He started his career as a diplomat at ministry of external relations in 1993, from 1997 to 2006 he was passed as a Second General, deputy to the consulate General of Cameron in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Oumar is currently a sub director in charge of relations with western European countries at the ministry of external relations in Yaoundé-Cameroon

Experience in Human rights field:

In 2008 he was designated as member of the working group of preparatory to draft Reports on the UPR of Cameroon by UN Human rights Council-Geneva, In October 2012 he became a member of Cameroon delegation to the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly, in June 2011, he was elected as a member of OIC-Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission.
