OIC-IPHRC squarely rejects the Indian Government’s illegal actions to alter the demographic status of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IoJ&K) as violative of OIC and UN Security Council Resolutions and international human rights/humanitarian laws.
The OIC-IPHRC welcomes the decision of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to introduce reforms in the country’s penal code by abolishing floggings and capital punishment for minors.
OIC-IPHRC expresses deep concerns over plight of Palestinian prisoners and detainees languishing in Israeli prisons and, in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, urges all concerned to pressurize Israeli authorities to respect and fulfil the rights of the vulnerable prisoners and detainees guaranteed by the international human rights law.

OIC-IPHRC regrets loss of innocent lives; strongly condemns organized violence against Muslims in India by extremist Hindus and calls on the Government of India to protect its Muslim minority in line with its obligations under international human rights law
OIC-IPHRC reiterates that any viable and lasting peace plan for Palestinians must follow their inalienable right to self-determination guaranteed by International Law and relevant UN and OIC Resolutions and to address the final status issues in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Palestine.
OIC-IPHRC welcomes the landmark order of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) admitting the case of violation of Genocide Convention by Myanmar and issuing binding ‘provisional measures’ to protect the Rohingya Muslims from genocidal acts and grave violations of human rights
OIC-IPHRC strongly denounces the bigoted Indian Citizen Amendment Bill (CAB) that overtly discriminates Muslims based on their religion and urges the Government of India to immediately repeal it as well as to ensure protection of the basic rights and fundamental freedoms of its Muslim minority
